Not all hotels have the resources or time to risk being at the cutting edge of groundbreaking or revolutionary technological innovation. And that's totally fine. Independent hotels like the lovely Hotel Christian IV in downtown Copenhagen often require their management and staff to wear multiple hats in order to provide excellent service to their guests. Hotel Christian IV owner and General Manager Kasper Linnet Jørgensen certainly wears a lot of hats. He's in charge of operations, revenue management, and much more. Needless to say, Kasper is a busy guy.
We sat down with the former pro golfer who, in an unexpected turn of events, jumped into his family's hotel business with both feet, learning as he went. Kasper spoke with us about what it's like to be a small independent hotel in today's day and age, and the benefits and challenges of all the current technology and software available to the modern hotelier.
So without further ado, take a look at our latest interview in our Hotel Tech Insiders series: Kasper Linnet Jørgensen, GM at Hotel Christian IV in Copenhagen.
